Questions about painless dentistry
Can dental treatment really be painless?
Modern techniques and good anaesthesia make most procedures comfortable. You may feel pressure or vibration but should not feel sharp pain. If you do, tell us and we will stop and top up the numbing.
I am very scared of the dentist. Where do I start?
Start with a simple check-up and a conversation. There is no pressure to begin treatment on the first visit.
Will I feel the injection?
We use numbing gel first and inject slowly, which keeps it as comfortable as possible.
Do you offer sedation?
Please ask us about options for your situation when you call. We will tell you what is suitable and available.
This page gives general information. Every mouth is different, so the right treatment and timeline depend on your examination.
